This is the second book in the 'Sirens and Sailors' series and follows Eban and Amaranda as they leave the ancient island of Refrainia to start a new life on Eban's homeland of Westland.
Amaranda has a really hard time adapting life on the mainland, especially when she has to fight the unwelcome advances of one of Eban's friends, tolerate the bitchiness of one of his ex-girlfriends and have her life threatened in a fire.
Eban has to deal with his feelings of jealousy - which leads to some interesting action in the bedroom...
